Required equipment

Charged mobile phone with the ability to make incoming and outgoing calls within the territory of the Republic of Bulgaria
Minimum 1000 ml of water
A light source with a capacity of at least 16 hours (2 nights) – or a combination of 2 sources, 1 source with 2 sets of batteries, etc.
A container for liquids (there are NO disposable cups or utensils at our refreshment stations)
Food with an equivalent of at least 500 kcal (e.g. energy gel and energy bar)
Aluminum foil (survival blanket) measuring at least 140 x 200 cm

Another dream come true - a challenge, and another happily climbed peak in life, and in fact, what is happiness, if not a complex of dreams come true. And so Persenk Ultra 160K is already behind me. Some easy, some quite difficult, I managed to complete the 160 kilometer route in the heart of the Rhodope Mountains in 32:35:48 hours. I learned valuable lessons, found new friendships, realized that I can overcome pain, which until recently I did not even think I could overcome.

There is no saturation to this mountain and enchanted forest... Organization, volunteers, atmosphere - top! It is worth every penny and nail!

The mood is gone...and the cramps...and the heat. Another portion of "never again...I'm giving up". At the next stop, familiar volunteers again. I'm not comfortable doing my first DNF right next to them...and so there it is, the finish line.

Persenk Ultra is a special race for me. I have run countless times along the trails of all the routes (I also participated in the Orekhovo Ultra 2017), but starting from my hometown was a bold dream that fate decided was time to come true.
